Day 1 : Chennai
Meet on arrival
to Chennai and transfer to hotel. Visit the National Art Gallery and
Government Museum, Fort St. George, Marina Beach, Kapaleeshwar temple,
Senate House and San Thome Cathedral.
Day 2 : Mysore
Depart for the "Sandalwood City" -
Mysore. Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a drive up the Chamundi Hill and visit
the temple and see the statue of Nandi Bull.
Day 3 : Mysore
Sight-seeing including Maharaja's Palace, Brindavan Gardens and St.

Bangalore
Set out for Bangalore. Half-day city tour. Visit Cubbon
Park, Tipu Sultan's Palace and Lallbagh gardens. The nightlife of Bangalore

6 : Kovalam
Connect flight for the capital of Kerala, Trivandrum.
Meet and transfer to beautiful beach resort in Kovalam. Spend the day
sunbathing and swimming.
Day 7 : Kovalam
Enjoy the
Kovalam coast. The beaches are scenic and the water is inviting. Enjoy the
traditional cuisine of Kerala.
Day 8 : Periyar
Drive
to the wildlife sanctuary in Periyar. The drive is lovely, through rubber
plantations and cardamom fields. Transfer to hotel. Evening free to walk
around the scenic coffee plantations.
Day 9 :
Madurai
Begin morning with boat ride on Lake Periyar to see Wild
Elephants. Safari to the Periyar wildlife sanctuary to see the tiger and the
other wild beasts in their natural habitat. Depart for the temple town of
Madurai on the banks of River Vaigai.
Day
10 : Madurai
Morning sight-seeing of city, including the famous
Meenakshi temple. It is famous for its four gopurams (pillars) with
multicolored gods and demons. Evening free for leisure activities.
Day 11 : Trichy
Morning drive to Trichy. Visit the
spectacular Rock Fort Temple, Vinayaka Temple and Srirangam Temple complex.
Day 12 : Pondicherry
Depart for the attractive and
charming Pondicherry. Visit the adjoining township of Auroville and Sri
Aurobindo Ashram. Explore the fine collection of archaeological excavations
and French period furniture.
Day 13 :
Mahabalipuram
Drive to Mahabalipuram. Sight-seeing of sculptural
marvels like Arjuna's penance, Krishna Mandapam, Varaha Mandapam, Five
Rathas and Shore temples.
Day 14 : Chennai
Drive to
Chennai airport to board flight for onward journey.
