Highlights of the Tour:

This tour gives you an insight about the tribal areas of Central India, their way of living life, their customs, culture and their outlook towards life as a whole.

Day 1: Raipur - Jagdalpur
Upon arrival in Raipur, meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel.Refresh yourself before driving down to Jagdalpur, Bastar. The drive should take about 6 hours. Enroute picnic lunch.  Here you get your first glimpse of the stunning forests of Keshkal and Bastar. Ovenight stay at Jagdalpur.

Day 2: Jagdalpur - Kanger Valley National Park

After breakfast, visit kanger Valley National Park. Also explore one of the limestone caves here, known for beautiful stalgmite and stalactite formations. This is tribal country and you will have the experience of meeting some of the trible people in their homes. It will be a wonderful opportunity to interact with them and learn something about their culture. Enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch at the popular Tirthgarh Falls. Just relax - enjoy the falls and the lush vegetation. You'll be back at your hotel for dinner. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 3: Jagdalpur - Chitrakote - Nagarnar
After breakfast, proceed for the famous Chitrakote Falls, the Niagara - like horseshoe waterfall created by Bastar's Indravati River. You'll have plenty of time to take photographs and be mesmerized by the rainbows arching across the turbulent flow. On the way back for lunch at the hotel, stop at the Anthropological Museum to have an interesting insight into Bastar's tribal culture. After lunch, drive to Nagarnar, famous for its terracotta handicrafts. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay..

Day 4: Jagadalpur
Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning we'll visit a 'haat' (weekly market) where you can enjoy a slice of local life. After lunch at the hotel, rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy on your own.

Day 5: Jagdalpur - Narayanpur - Raipur
Breakfast in the hotel. Checkout and departure for Raipur enroute visit Narayanpur, which is known for its excellent handicrafts. The bell metal, wood, wrought iron and bamboo artifacts are wonderful. Another interesting place here is the Ramakrishna Mission centre, where you can meet some of the people involved in very valuable welfare work amongst the tribal people. Arrive Raipur and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 6: Raipur
Breakfast in the hotel. Checkout and in time transfer to the airport to board flight for onwards destination.
