If you are a first time trekker, then this could be the tour for you! Apart from trekking experience, you will be visiting pilgrimage destinations like Rishikesh (popular among the Hindus) and Hemkunt Sahib (popular among the Sikhs). Besides, you will have the experience to remember - visiting Valley of Flowers!

Day 1: Delhi - Rishikesh (224 kms - 6 hrs)

Upon arrival in Delhi, meet our representative at the airport/Railway Station and drive to Rishikesh - beautiful holy town on the bank of the holy Ganges. Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check into your camp/resort on the banks of the river. Rest of day is at leisure to enjoy on your own. In the evening, participate in / view 'Aarti' at the banks of Ganga in Haridwar. Overnight at the the resort.

Day 2: Rishikesh - Govindghat (117 kms/15 hrs)

After breakfast, drive into mountainous terrain past small Garhwal villages. Overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Govindghat - Ghangaria (14 kms)

Breakfast at the camp. This is an uphill trek (best done on a pony) to Ghangaria through lush green hilly terrain. Overnight at the camp.

Day 4: Ghangaria - Hemkunt Sahib - Ghangaria

Breakfast at the camp. Start your trek to the holy shrine of Sikhs - Hemkunt Sahib. After reaching Hemkunt Sahib, take a dip in the holy pond. Perform Darshan. Later start your trek back to Ghangaria. Overnight at the camp.

 

Day 5: Ghangaria - Valley of Flowers - Ghangaria

Breakfast at the camp. Start your 4 kms trek to Valley of Flowers where you will witness innumerable varieties of flora & fauna. Overnight at the camp.

Day 6:Ghangaria - Rishikesh

Breakfast at the camp. Start your 14 kms trek down to Govindghat (better to ride a pony). Upon arrival at Govindghat, drive back to Rishikesh. Overnight stay at the riverside resort.

Day 7: Rishikesh - Delhi

Breakfast at the resort. Checkout and departure for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, in time transfer to the airport/railway station to board flight/train for onwards destination.
