Day 01: New Delhi - Amritsar (By Train)

0600hrs Pickup and transfer to New Delhi Railway Station to board train for Amritsar. 0720hrs Departure by Amritsar Swarna Shatabdi Express for Amritsar - The Golden Temple City of India. Breakfast on board the train. 1315hrs

Arrive Amritsar. Upon arrival, meet our representative at the Railway Station and transfer to the hotel. Checkin the hotel. Lunch on your own. Evening, visit the Attari border to witness the Evening beating the retreat drills by Indian & Pakistani Security forces.
Overnight stay in the hotel.

 

Day 02: Amritsar - New Delhi (By Train)

Morning visit Golden Temple - the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. In the evolution of the Darbar Sahib, is entwined the history and ideology of Sikhism.

In its architecture are included, symbols associated with other places of worship. This is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, checkout of the hotel.

 

Visit the famous Jallianwala Bagh - Martyrs Memmorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar. Lunch on your own. In time transfer to the Railway Station to board your train for New Delhi.
1700hrs Departure by Swarna Shatabdi  Express for New Delhi. Evening Tea/Coffee & Dinner on board the train. 2250hrs Arrive New Delhi.
