Highlights of the Tour:
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Upon arrival at the airport, meet our representative, who will transfer you to the hotel. You will be accorded a traditional welcome. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of New Delhi. Some of the monuments you visit on your sightseeing tour include Bahai Temple (Lotus Temple), Humayun's Tomb, the Qutab Minar, Connaught Place and India Gate and drive past Sansad Bhavan (Parliament House) & Rastrapati Bhavan (President's House). In the afternoon proceed on a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting Jama Masjid, Red Fort & Raj Ghat. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi - Samode - Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur by road. En-route, enjoy the various sightseeing like Samode. After reaching Jaipur, check-in at the hotel. Refresh. Visit colorful bazaars (markets) to get a feel of the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur - Amber Fort - Jaipur
This is the day to experience the architectural beauty of the Pink City. You visit Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Observatory, Hawa Mahal and other important places. Jaipur is rich with ancient monuments, which were built centuries ago. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
After early breakfast, depart to Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was once the capital city of the Mughal Emperor, "Akbar". Upon arrival in Agra, the wonder Monument "Taj Mahal" which is also the most photographed monument in the world. The Taj Mahal was built in the 17th century by "Shah Jahan" in memory of his beloved wife, "Mumtaz Mahal". After visiting the Taj Mahal, visit the massive Agra Fort. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Agra - Jhansi - Orchha - Khajuraho
After breakfast, transfer to the railway station to board train for Jhansi. Upon arrival at Jhansi Railway Station, meet our representative who will transfer you to Khajuraho (183 Kms).Enroute visit Orchha - Once the capital of Bundelas, Orchha is a village, set amongst a complex of well preserved palaces and temples. Though Orchha was founded in 1531, it's golden age was during the first half of 17th century when Jehangir, visiting the city in 1606, made a special palace, "Jehangir Mahal". Visit the Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal & Ram Raja temple which also dates back to the 17th century. Arrive Khajuraho and check-in at the hotel. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 07: Khajuraho - Varanasi
After breakfast, explore the Western temples & Eastern temples of Khajuraho while your guide explains the intricate meaning and legends behind each describable sculpture. In the evening transfer to Khajuraho airport to board the flight for Varanasi- Said to be the India's most sacred city situated on the western bank of the holy river "Ganga". It is also the oldest living city in the world. As a place for devotion and worship, with hundreds of temples dotting the city, sunrise on the river front as seen from a boat can be a spiritually uplifting sight. It has a fascination uniquely its own, a quality of sublime beauty, a timeless eternal appeal. Varanasi is the city which cannot be described, only experienced. Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Evening view "Aarti" ceremony on the Ghats. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Varanasi - Delhi
Early Morning enjoy the boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Later excursion to Sarnath, 10 kms. East of Varanasi, is one of the Buddhism's major centers of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon. In the evening transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Delhi
Breakfast in the hotel. Today, the day is at leisure to enjoy on your own or for shopping.
Day 10: Departure Delhi
Breakfast in the hotel. In time transfer to the airport to board your flight for onward destination.
