Day 1: Arrive Chennai

On arrival meet and greet at the airport & transfer to the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Chennai - Mahabalipuram

Leave for Mahabalipuram, a coastal temple town an hours drive form chennai. Mahabalipuram is Indias stone carving capital, famous for its romantic shore temple a world Heritage Monument. A long, beautiful white sand beach, crocodile farm, snake venom extracting center, schools of art and sculpture and many resorts attract tourists to this busy village.

Day 3: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry

The day starts with an early breakfast after which, you will be moved to Pondicherry. It is about 85 km from Chennai to Pondicherry.Reach Pondicherry in the afternoon and after lunch goes for a half-day sight seeing tour of the city.

Day 4: Pondicherry - Tranquebar - Thanjavur

We leave Pondicherry from the morning and runs against Tranquebar. During stopped by the massive tempelkompleks in Chidambaram. This huge edifice, inaugurated the dansende Shiva, is an architectural masterpiece and one of the holiest temples of Shiva-Sydindien After having admired the temple, we continue to the old Danish trading Tranquebar (1620 - 1845). Day 5: Thanjavur

We spend all day in Thanjavur, for here waiting for a quantity pastime. Thanjavur is located midway between Cauvery Delta paddy fields and were through the centuries Chola-kongernes capital. Almost wherever we are in the city, we can see the impressive Brihadeshwara-Temple extend towards the sky. On top of the 63 metre-high temples is a dome, which is carved into one piece of granite and weighs around 81 tonnes. Day 6: Thanjavur - Tiruchiapalli - Madurai

The next target of our process is Madurai. But before then, stay in impressive Tiruchirapalli. On top of a 83 meter high almost vertically in the weather, is the spectacular Rock Fort temple. Then the trip to the nearby Srirangam-Temple, with its 250 hectares is one of India's largest tempel komplekser. Temple, which is consecrated to Vishnu, has seven concentric walls, numerous towers, halls with hundreds of columns and wonderful sculptures. This temple is a totally overwhelming experience and a clear manifestation of how important hinduismen history has been - and still is - in southern India. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 7: Madurai

Morning visit the great Meenakshi Amman Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering gopurams (rising high above the surrounding country side). Later, visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace - A gracious building in the Indo Saracen style, famous for the Stucco work on its domes & arches. Also visit the Alagar Hills and Tiruparam Kundram Rock temple. Afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight stay at Madurai.

Day 8: Madurai - Periyar

Morning drive to Periyar. The earliest sanctuary to be set up in 1934, it extends to 777sq.kms and forms part of the high mountain ranges, the Western Ghats. Wild life can be seen while cruising on Periyar Lake in a motor boat. Amongst the animals which can be seen are elephants, wild boar, sambar, tiger, leopard, wild dog, langur monkeys, etc. Overnight stay at Periyar.

Day 9: Backwaters (Periyar)

Kerala, popularly known and believed as God's Own Country, is an ideal destination for business traveler as well as holidaymaker. The state is blessed with myriad features like dense tropical forests, beautiful beaches, cliffs, rocky coasts, an intricate maze of backwaters, still bays and astounding 44 radiant rivers. Day 10: Alleppey -Cochin

Morning disembark from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin. On arrival enjoy a tour of Cochin. Cochin is the natural harbour created by the famed underwater Malabar mud-banks. Vasco-de-Gama placed it on the world map. Visit the Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Palace, and Jewish synagogue, St. Francis Church and view the operation of the Chinese fishing nets. Evening visit to Cochin cultural centre for viewing the Kathakalli Opera. Overnight stay at Cochin

Day 11: Cochin

On the morning visit Cochins old Jewish quarter. We are a tour of the exotic, fragrant and spice and visit India's oldest church, St. Francis Church, which is from 1503. Later in the day we look in the first synagogue in India, and examines the Portuguese palace, which contains murals with scenes from eposet Ramayana. In this district are also a number of very exciting antique, which we will visit during the afternoon. There will also be time for on their own to explore this old city.

Day 12: Cochin - Conoor

We leave Cochin and running into the country. The trip goes by winding through lush evergreen forests to one of the most beautiful places in the Nilgiri Mountains, bjergstationen Conoor. Here in upland built the English colonists homes as they could pull back to when the heat at the coast was too rapid. Te-plantations, and flowers form a beautiful background for the small town, which still has a relaxing over there. Afternoon is free to wander for a walk in the beautiful surroundings.

Day 13: Conoor - Mysore

This morning drive north to Mysore. This rural city is noted for it's palatial Building, beautiful gardens and as a major centre for the manufacture of incense Made from sandalwood, musk and jasmine. Mysore is also a centre for handicrafts Specializing in wood carvings and silk.

Day 14 : Mysore

The area around Mysore offers two major attractions, as today we will visit. We start by Srirangapatnam few kilometers from Mysore. On an island in the Cauvery river is here ruins of Tipu Sultans capital. A seven-story high tempelbygning adorn the top, which we have a fantastic view of the city. We are, and enjoying the sight of the sun going down over the Mysore.

Day 15: Mysore - Bangalore Departure

After early morning breakfast. We start sightseeing of Mysore. Mysore has a long and colorful history, as we learn better to know when we in the morning visiting the city's fantastic maharajapalads. After visiting our city's Palace grntsagsmarked before we drive back to the hotel and check out. We do lunch in Mysore, then drive continue to Bangalore. After dinner it's time to drive to the airport, to catch the flight.
