Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Arrive in India's bustling capital city of Delhi, where you are greeted by the Concord Representative with a traditional Indian Garland welcome and escorted to the hotel in New Delhi. Our assistant will help you check in the hotel. The next day's plan is discussed briefly and all documents are handed over.

Day 02: Delhi - Full day sightseeing


The city is dotted with spellbinding mosques, forts, and monuments left over from the Mughal rulers that once occupied the city. The contrast between rambling Old Delhi and well planned New Delhi is immense, and it's interesting to spend time exploring both.

After a nice breakfast, embark on a tour of Lutyen's Delhi (New Delhi). Drive along Rajpath, the capital's broadest avenue, to view the Parliament House, President's House with photo stop at the India Gate.

Then you will visit the Golden Domed Sikh Temple built in 1783, called Bangla Saheb Gurudwara , associated with the 8th Sikh Guru - Guru Har Krishan. The complex has a Holy Pond ( Sarovar), the main temple , a school , an art gallery, and a common kitchen which serves hundreds of people meals during the day - called langar. After that, drive past the downtown area of Connaught Place, and then break for lunch.

Post lunch visit the Qutab Minar, built in 1193 AD , the 239 feet high Tower is an example of the Persian architecture in India and along with the other monuments nearly , most prominent being the Iron Pillar , which has remained rust free since 1500 years weather all kinds of onslaughts of heat , cold and rain.
This complex is also one of the UNESCO Heritage Sites.

Humayun's Tomb , which is one of Delhi's 3 UNESCO Heritage sites. It is a beautiful Tomb of the famous Mughal Emperor Humayun. The marvelous architecture and the gardens will mesmerize you.

Then drive straight to visit to the most famous and beautiful Akshardham Temple. The Akshardham experience is an enlightening journey through India's glorious art, values and contributions for the progress, happiness and harmony of mankind through the lovely Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, exhibitions, verdant gardens and other attractions - like the Water Show, after sunset.

Day 03: Delhi - Full Day sightseeing

After the New Delhi, today is the day to see the charms of Old Delhi, a complete contrast! After breakfast, embark on an exciting Old Delhi Tour. The first stop is the Red Fort, built by Shah Jahan, which was the seat of the Mughal Empire in India for nearly 250 years. The massive Red Fort Walls enclosed the complex where the royal family stayed. The remnants of the Meena Bazaar ( ladies market) and the other monuments inside with a mix of Persian , European and Indian architecture gives an insight of the glory ...that used to be! From there, just hop across the road, to enter the cacophony of Old Delhi. Get on a cycle rickshaw and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. After that, walk through the crowded alleys of Chandni Chowk to enjoy. Allow a riot of smells of street food and spices, mélange of colours of the sarees and sounds of ancient and modern sounds.

Visit the famous Jama Masjid (1650 AD), on the outskirts of the Chandni Chowk Bazaar, is a magnificent architectural monument . It can take up to 25000 worshippers at the same time.

Then drive straight to famous the Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi - 'The Father of Our Nation'. Break for lunch.

After lunch, visit the National Handicrafts and Handlooms Museum (National Crafts Museum)to see local handicrafts. (Closed on Mondays)
In the evening, we would recommend you to visit the Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon to enjoy a Bollywood Dance Show Programme with Dinner. It is optional programme but needs to be pre booked.

Else you can explore shops on own or relax in the hotel.

Day 04 Delhi - Varanasi


Varanasi, the holy city of India, is also known by the name of Kashi and Benaras. Kashi, the city of Moksha for Hindus since centuries, is known for its fine-quality silks, 'paan'and Benares Hindu University and the world famous Ganga Aarti! A visit here is a life changing experience....a city that has not changed with time!
Morning checkout of the hotel and in time transfer to the airport to board a mid morning flight to Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi, and then transfer to the hotel. After lunch enjoy half day sightseeing of the temples of Varanasi , the narrow lanes , bazaars and the old parts of the city which shows little change since the times gone by. In the evening see the spectacular Ganga Aarti , thoudsands of worshippers offering prayers to River Ganges.
Light you own candle/diya and flower offerering and watch it float away in the river!

Day 05 Varanasi


Early morning depart for a exceptional experience to have a SUNRISE boat cruise, to watch the sunlight go up against the river. Enjoy the cruise to see the lovely sights all along the Ghats of the river. Watch saints offering prayers, ladies and men taking holy dips or people in various activities like yoga or meditation. Return to the hotel and then after breakfast, relax for some time.

After lunch depart for excursion to Sarnath.

Sightseeing of the place where Buddha gave his first sermon. Also it is very famous for the Dhamekha Stupa , built by 249 BC by Emperor Ashok. Also visit the archeological museum.

Return to Varanasi.

Day 06 Varanasi - Khajuraho


Most Khajuraho temples were built between 950 and 1050 CE by the Chandela dyasty. History says that Khajuraho temple site had 85 temples by 12th century, spread over 20 square kilometers. Of these, only about 20 temples have survived, spread over 6 square kilometers. The temples are grouped into three geographical divisions: western, eastern and southern. The Khajuraho temples are made of sandstone, with a granite foundation that is almost concealed from view. The Khajuraho Dance Festival is held every year in February. It features various classical Indian dances set against the backdrop of the Chitragupta or Vishwanath Temples.

After breakfast, checkout and then depart for airport to board flight to Khajuraho.

Arrive Khajuraho and transfer to the hotel. In the evening enjoy the light at the sound Show at the temples.

Day 07 Khajuraho

Morning have breakfast at the hotel. Then enjoy half day sightseeing of the Temples ( East and West Temples). Then check out of the hotel and then drive off to Jhansi via sightseeing at Orchha. In Jhansi in time transfer to the station to board the Shatabdi Express to train to Agra.

Arrive Agra in the evening and then transfer to the hotel.

Day 08 Khajuraho - Jhansi - Agra



Day 09 Agra - Full Day sightseeing


Morning have an early breakfast and then depart for the sightseeing of the magnificent TAJ MAHAL, the epitome of love shown by the Emperor Shah Jahan , by having it built in the memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her moral remains. It was completed in 1653 and took 22 years to construct it. 22000 skilled workers and craftsmen made the intricate mausoleum. With a Concord guide explaining the wonderful stories and facts, you are sure to be impressed with the World's Greatest Monument of Love and one of the best UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Then break for lunch
After lunch, in the afternoon explore the 16th century massive Agra Fort, with its battlements, apartments, gardens and halls of audience.

Evening enjoy a Classical Dance Programme showing the classical love story for Emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal at Kalakriti Auditorium or Evening spend some free time to explore some shops for souvenirs shopping or to relax in the hotel.

Day 10 Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur - Ranthambore


Have an early breakfast. Suggest you get a packed lunch from the hotel as the enoute facilities are not too good. Checkout and depart for sightseeing of Fatehpur Sikri , built by Emperor Akhbar in 1570 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. It houses the beautiful Buland Darwaza ( tallest Door) and also the White Marble Tomb of the Sheikh Salim Chisti.

After that immediately drive to Bharatpur and arrive at the station in time to board the train to Ranthambore . (You could also drive to Ranthambore) Arrive Ranthambore.

Transfer from the Ranthambore station to the hotel/ jungle lodge in Ranthambore.

Day 11 Ranthambore


Ranthambore was once the private hunting grounds of the ruler's of Jaipur and covers around 410 square kilometers. It became a National Park in 1972 under the Project Tiger Conversation.

Morning get up early and enjoy a jungle safari. After the Safari , come in and get refreshed for the breakfast. In the afternoon you could explore the Ranthambore Fort, the climb is quite tedious ...700 steps! or you could just relax in the lodge and enjoy the facilities. Have lunch in the resort.

Late afternoon enjoy another Safari in the jungle. Return by the evening. Relax , have dinner and Overnight at the hotel.


Day 12 - Ranthambore - Jaipur


Morning after breakfast depart for Jaipur. It will be advisable to carry packed lunch from the hotel , as there are very limited options . Arrive Jaipur and check in at the hotel.
Evening enjoy shopping in the local markets. Jaipur is famous for its jewellery, carpets and handicrafts.

OR A very interesting dinner option is to visit 1135 AD, a theme restaurant at the Amber Fort. it is located on the highest levels of the Fort ( yes INSIDE ). The cars are allowed to a point and then guests are escorted to a beautifully decorated candle lit courtyard and one can choose to sit inside the dining hall or on the terrace.

Day 13 Jaipur - Full day sightseeing

After breakfast, get ready to be transported back in time, riding royally atop elegantly draped and painted elephants, to the mountain fortress of Amber, a superb example of Rajput architecture, with its complex of palaces, temples and ornate apartments. Afternoon sightseeing of the City Palace and Museum and the Jantar Mantar ( UNESCO Heritage Site ) which is a famous observatory made by Raja Jai Singh and accurate to 2 seconds as on today too. Also make a quick visit to the Birla Temple known for its lovely architecture.

Evening enjoy photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the winds ) and then free to explore the pink Bazaar to see the locals bargaining for their daily necessities.

Day 14 Jaipur - Delhi

Morning have breakfast in the hotel. Morning pre lunch is free for leisure activities.

Checkout of the hotel and then depart for Delhi. Arrive Delhi in 6 hours and then transfer to hotel in city or at the airport depending on the departure time of the flight.
